These French-owned hotels nestle sympathetically amongst rocky outcrops on the southern boundary of Isalo National Park, and are amongst Madagascar’s finest.

Local stone has been used to construct buildings that appear almost as extensions of the natural rock. At the Jardin du Roy 15 rooms have en suite facilities and a verandah looking over the surrounding landscape, whereas the Relais de la Reine has 30 rooms with similar facilities. Each hotel has a pool, and offers guided walks in the park.
